Hello everybody! Zumbie-chan here! I'm starting to post my story "Back To Life" which is about a young boy who becomes good friends with a girl who was brought back to life by a collage aged doctor. They soon become ensnarled in a vicious love web of life and death.

I may be slow to post for the next week or so, but soon enough summer vacation will be in full swing and so will BTL

A Walk To Remember

I sit on my tomb stone, lonely as always. Why doesn't anyone want to talk to me? Amane-sensei did a pretty good job hiding my autopsy marks, I would think with all my makeup on, nobody would notice. But alas, nobody comes to see me! I slip off the rugged stone and begein to walk around the cemetary. I have nothing else to do, as usual. But wait! I see someone! A boy, he's just walking around the cemetary also. He looks distressed, might as well see if he'll talk to me! I mean, with the way he's dressed he looks more like a zombie than I do...maybe he is!

Kaisuke Yamada walked unhappily around the cemetary, fuming at his parents for kicking him out. Where the hell did they think he was going to go? Just because he got into trouble with the police a few times, they decide they want nothing to do with him? As he walked, childishly trying to kick up fog, he noticed something red standind out against the darkness of the night. Squinting, he strained to see. There was a young girl walking towards him, her long red hair flowing behind her, her pale skin glowing from the moonlight. Kai shuddered. Freaky lookin' chick he thought to himself.

When I reach the boy, I am able to see more of his features. Hair, black as the night, covering one of his pale blue eyes, which are surounded by dark, smudged makeup. He is dressed in dark clothes that cover him completely, even though its hot out tonight. I decide to ask him if he is one of us.

"I don't know..." Kai replied to the girl. "What are you? Emo's? Punks? Cause I'm neither." the girl giggles.

"No silly!" she wiped away some makeup from under her eye to reveal stitches running down her face. She picked at the stitches till the end came out and tungged. Kai suddenly felt the need to throw up. The a piece of the girls skin fell and hung limply on her face. But what was making him sick was that the inside the girls face, the muscle, bones, everything, was rotting. It was all pretty much mush. He fell to the ground, dizzy and terrified. The girl reached down, asked him if he was okay, and touched his shoulder.

"You mean you're not a zombie?" she asked innocently. "Oh well." She put her face close to his. "You can still be my friend!"

He screamed.
