Dilemna?
I think my guyfriends (namely Snarky Baltimore Boy & Brazilian Facebook Hubby) don't approve of DHB. Not surprising since I'm like their surrogate little sister who they love to tease. Except that simile doesn't quite work since they have no qualms pretend-flirting with me, but hey. Small details. I'm seriously kind of worried about this, though, because they seem legitimately weirded out by the idea of some guy they don't really know basically courting me (if I may be so optimistic...) and practically do the awkward turtle every time DHB jumps in conversations to talk to me. And I really would like for all of them to get along, so... :(
Though on the brighter side, I befriended an Adorable Girl From Bhutan today WHO KNOWS THE BOYS AND EVEN LIKES ONE OF THEIR SONGS. Now I don't even much mind the fact that DHB & his friends went back to Toledo for the weekend, since Bhutan girl & I are going to be hanging out tomorrow and doing Ceramic-y things. :DD
And she said something really sweet today when I mentioned to her about how people have the tendency to shut people out once they've formed an established "group" of friends, and she let slip, "I know what you mean! But you know, with you it's different..." And I was like ;_____________;!!
Gahh, I just love how supportive all my friends here are. Seriously, people in high school never complimented me this much LOL. I guess in h.s. I just felt like an average everyday person, but for some reason around here, I feel a lot more... special, I guess. It's awesome, especially since I've managed to keep this up all while dodging parties & alcohol. :)
So.
Two Saturdays from now, the two of us are going swimming. Haven't mentioned it yet, but that last Walmart outing actually ended up being the two of us PLUS his friends, not that I minded much since I like them anyway... but this time it really does seem like it will just be the two of us. Alone. In our swimsuits.

EDIT: Oh, and the two of us both fell asleep next to each other in the commons room last night. When I came back to my room to shower at 9AM, my roommate was just like, ".....r u srs."
Which is sort of bad b/c everyone seems to think that the two of us are starting to hook up already, but we're... not. We're just friends right now. And even though I DO think he likes me back, it doesn't seem like the two of us are really willing to take any further steps at the moment. And I guess that's okay for now...? I don't mind waiting, but I guess it just kills me not knowing for sure, you know?
EDIT #2: Oh, and I decided not to take Econ pass/fail. It was one of those miraculous moments where I had the form all filled out and had thirty minutes to turn it in to the registrar... and I ripped up the form and threw it out.
Funny thing is, DHB was just like, "If you think you should take the class pass/fail, then go for it! :D:D:D" before, but once I was all like BUT MY PROFESSOR JUST MOTIVATED ME TO TRY AND I WANT TO WORK HARD FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE, then he was like, "Okay, then just rip the form up! :D:D:D"
So I think he would've fully supported me no matter what I decided to do, hahaha.
If there's one thing I've learned today...
It's that, just because the jocks stumble back to the dorm drunk off their asses every party night and are loud and sometimes crude and have lots of promiscuous sex with skanky girls in the room next to me doesn't automatically mean that they're bad people.
.....Either that or I'm just an egotistical ho who thinks people are lovely as long as they are nice to me. Either way, I win because hey. People are nice to me!
