I don't know how you do it.
With lots of strained smiles, and crying to myself late at night, pretty much. ^^;
I just want to be needed, I guess. I don't want to spend so much time and effort on someone who wouldn't do the same for me. But it's difficult to let go of someone who once made me so happy.

That's an all-around sucky situation. It's definitely a good thing you're close to your roommate, though. I wish I had amazing suggestions for you, but honestly, with all the thinking you've had to do about this, you've probably already considered every option. Sometimes there's not much one can do besides muddle through. Hang in there.

LOL. Nowadays, I often sigh to myself and think, "I need a boyfriend." Not that that seems likely anytime soon. >_>;;
So I'm leaning towards the latter option. Though to be honest, doing even that is still difficult, since a lot of my friends are DHB's friends too. Or they live south as well, so I barely see them unless I really go out of my way. x___x;
But ah well, we make the best of things. At least my roommate is one of my best friends here, too. :3
