Considering how the American censors had already done their dirty work on Sailor Moon to rebrand Uranus and Neptune as "cousins", I'm not surprised they never aired the final season. They would have to butcher it beyond all recognition to try and explain away the gender-bending going on.
I certainly wouldn't answer "Kill myself" if I were asked what I would do if I were transformed into a girl. Actually I think the first thing I would do would be to go clothes shopping. I have a terrible time getting things that fit me because of my size as a male, but I bet I wouldn't have the same problem if I was a female looking for clothes that fit properly.

Wow, that's the best origin story of Godzilla I've ever heard. Maybe I'll add that to my growing list of comic vignettes to draw. The Destruction of New York City by righteous rampaging feminist.
reply to Kelsey: "As you said, the junk would be different, but that's it. I barely have boobs, so that wouldn't even be much of a change." XD I thought the exact same thing about myself haha.
I can't believe those boys in that study >.> it is really worrying when people think like that...
*nods* That is crazy. I mean...crazy and not in a good way. For the guys to say such a thing if they turned into girls. Heck, being a girl, sometimes I do wanna kill myself, but that is mostly due to the wretched periods that come every month lolol. But I wouldn't wanna be a guy. As you said, the junk would be different, but that's it. I barely have boobs, so that wouldn't even be much of a change. I've been mistaken for a boy often...which doesn't make me feel good...>> But just wow that study.
You made such a valid point about effeminate guys and such in cultures. I was always perplexed about why they didn't show Sailor Stars...I mean...not necessarily confused since as you said, it is the western culture to be so...conservative about those things, so it wasn't a surprise, but it is annoying. I saw Sailor Stars when I was...gosh...11? On bootleg subbed VHS tapes lol. Did I turn out screwed up from watching guys turn into girls? Nope. And it wouldn't have hurt any other American kid watching it on tv. >> We have an odd view of gender and expectations. It's very old-fashioned really.
Thanks for your interesting ramble. You always do write up interesting rants and things. I don't always comment, but I find them thought-provoking!
P.S. I don't think all of what I said made sense lol. I lost my train of thought part-way...but in general, I agree with you. XD

That's why I hate society so much, the ignorance and the hypocrisy is too much. I guess it was worst before but we are still so primitive as how we expect of how a woman or men must be. We don't see each other as simply human beings, we are categorizes and judge. Men represent strength , superiority, intelligence while the woman is delicate, sensible, weak. Obviously the answer from the boys was the most stupidest and ignorant they could've said but I was sad with the answer from the girls too, if they wanted to do something when they were a girl why they wouldn't still do it as a boy, why pick " a man's work", a woman can also do those kind of works. Seriously, society, don't follow the norm of how we are supposed to be, just accept us for who we are.

@Angel Zakuro:
Yup, it's really silly how some people have a genuine fear of things that are simply different. :/
And thank you for the comment! I'm grateful that people even read my ranty posts, much less comment on them. ^^
