You're system changes as you get older, you might want to ask your doctor if it's okay to try like Claritin or something.
I have been prone to panic attacks in the past, not the same kind of thing obviously, but I know what it's like to dread the possibility of something happening even when you feel normal at the time.
I don't take any meds to prevent the flare up because according to my mom Ive taken everything and nothing ever worked, which I don't remember ever happening. When my symptoms come up I just take this cough compound that my doctor has prescribed for me since I was a kid and these attacks would occur. I'm used to it by now but I just want a way to avoid this.
Crap happens though doesn't it. My parents took a little while to get over it too. But life moves on and things get better with time, just hang in there.
I do hope your allergies don't flare up on you again, though. ): Do you at least take an OTC allergy med to help with those symptoms?
Try telling that to my mother and the rest of my family who seem to never want to let me live this down. Apparently they're "surprised" and "stunned" that I could be capable of this. They don't understand that I'm not the perfect star child student they had pictured in their minds, I'm a growing person.
Procrastination isn't the only reason that this happened though. I had a terrible allergy attack that lasted for a week and a half, it threw me behind so bad I could never really catch up. And now over where I live there has been a sharp drop in the temperature and its causing my symptoms again. Over my dead body am I going to have a repeat performance.
Oh and thank you so much for commenting. After a while I started to get worried that no one cared for my nonsense ^^;

Heh, I have been through the college experience. I went through the same phase in my fresh year. A lot of people tend to go through it, so you hit yours a little later in second year, no biggie. Trust me when I say you definitely aren't the first person to get put on probation for slipping in grade due to living a little too much.
My whole freshman year was a little wonky from partying too much and not doing enough work because of all the freedom living in dorms provides you. I was put on probation my sophomore year too.
The key is after you go a little wild to get back into things and realize the importance of grades for the future. It's kind of like a right of passage to maturity lol. It really is not that big of a deal as long as you crack down on the studying from now on. Trust me when I say that collage advisers know it too and they shouldn't pester you too much about it as long as things improve. It's nothing new to them either.
I'm sure you'll do well as long as you put the effort into it. Many, and I can stress how many, of us went through that period too.
