Hot Vampire~ Howard Lewis The Third

Howard Lewis the Third wiped the blood from his mouth. He dropped the young woman in the alley and carefully walked home. It was dark, pitch black, and the moon was almost full. His red eyes gleamed in the darkness, eventually returning to their original emerald green.

If anyone had walked by him they would have seen a young man probably in his early twenties with a brown trench coat, the collar pulled up. Nothing about him stood out, he was just another man on the dead-end street, keeping his head low and his hands in his pockets.

Howard reached into his pockets fishing for his keys, then he unlocked the front door and slipped inside before locking it behind him. He ran his hand through his long, black hair before sitting at his desk to stare at the old picture once again.

A young lady sat in a chair made of wildflowers beside a young man with his hand on her shoulder. If the photo had been in color you would have seen the green glint in the man’s eyes and the beautiful shades of blue flowers in the meadow where the couple was. You would have seen the black hair the man had and the blue-red eyes the woman had.

He had the photo close to his face, like he thought that if he stared at it long enough it would come alive. Howard sighed and put down the picture. He gracefully walked up to his bedroom and fell asleep.

He has a long day ahead of him tomorrow.
