The story is already twisted and the way this story is told it made the story even more twisted. A child abused by both parents tells her story seen though her eyes. She tells her story though her innocent eyes. The setting was in a circus, it made the movie look like a dream but with the story it actually it looks more of a nightmare. The use of whimsical music usually heard in circus made this quite attractive as if it is hypnotizing the audience into watching the film.

I can’t help but see something else than what is shown. Like the house, I don’t see it as this luxurious house but a normal Japanese house. I especially like the ending and how it turned out. It is definitely a twist to watch for.
