In contrast to the first season this was just awesome! But maybe the only reason why I was feeling that way is because of what was really going on in the story.

The story picks up from where Keiichi remember another world which basically gave a hint of what is about to happen in this season. The season also revealed Rika's personality changes within the first season. There are new characters and characters that made a comeback to somehow close the story.

To avoid any spoilers this is like the season that would explain what was going on. The ending is quite satisfactory as well, even that one question I had was answered.

The animation didn't really change, it's either that or I just got used to the animation. As for the part of what I was wishing, well there's no gore, if there is it's basically scenes from the first season.
Overall, this anime is something I would recommend and I would so the same with the first seas
on (just for you to get acquainted with the main struggles on the story). It's a roller coaster ride that offers mystery and a little bit of gore.
