Yeah, you're right...maybe I was trying too hard but I'm trying to clear my mind and maybe you'll see something from me soon :D thankyou sooo much...I may submit for some challenges cause atleast from them I get an idea as to what to submit :)
Thank you Yeah, i've been on my computer loads of times since yesterday I I'm following your advice searching for scans and stuff...so *fingers crossed* I might get something out of it

Aww I know how you feel my friend I wish I could be of help to you but I know absolutly nothing about makeing wallies and stuff hehe..One piece of advice I can give you is Never give up my friend
Good things comes 2 those who wait, The things you lost will always replace something better..
I have found that the greatest weapon against Art-block is to take a step back and try to forget about art for a short while. The more you dwell and push the more frustrated and the less amount of creativity you will be able to work up. I guess it goes along with the age old saying of "you're trying to hard". Sometimes you just need to not try.
Another thing I like to do when blocked is just randomly doodle or make simple things like avatars or signatures. Just playing around with brushes sometimes helps too.
One last technique I sometimes use is to lay back and try to clear my mind. Let it drift. Many of my ideas have come to me this way.
Art-block is not an easy thing to deal with and everyone handles it differently so it is really difficult for me to know how to help you. The examples I gave, always work for me but they may not be of any use to you...though I sincerely hope they do help you.
Aww~ Hifsa! I hate that feeling: I call it Art Block but meh.
Usually when this happens, I find quotes. Weird but yeah. I just go on google and find quotes and I get my inspiration from there. If that doesn't help I go find scans or renders. Renders are my fave to find cause they are already nicely cropped with no sharp edges. A render or scan might spark something~ Or, like Darkarax said, listen to music. I think it's better to listen to the radio than your IPod cuz you'll never know what song they'll play
I hope my techniques help and good luck!

I'm kind of in the same boat as far as wallpapers go (inversely, my writing is going very well). Anyway, here are some things I do when I get stuck creatively.
Read a book or something.
Just veg out and watch T.V.
Try playing a game of some kind.
Listen to music. Sometimes a song I hear on the radio will inspire a wallpaper (like the one I just put up).

Well, I say this whenever friends ask for inspiration...make a Star Wars wallie. Sorry, I'm such a sci-fi nerd.
