Sounds painful! I can only guess at the particular situations, but it sounds weird. Do they every come back to you and seek out friendship again? Perhaps they have a time of their "own problems" and it's hard for them to concentrate on anything else? Seriously i have no clue. The only way to really find out is to ask. But only do so if you're comfortable with it! Communication is the solver and trouble maker of problems. Sometimes it just needs one convo to clear things up.

That sort of thing happens to everyone it's not because your pathetic, I assure you that you are a beautiful and wonderful person. People will always leave and sometimes they'll hurt you as they do it but it's just to help you figure out the people that will always stay. But also remember there will always be some people that will stay with you forever you just got to find them. Like I said before you most definitely not pathetic and I'm sure you have plenty of people that agree that you are wonderful and irreplaceable.

It happens to all of us, you dont need to surround yourself with lots of people ,but it is good to find one or two ... and believe me that will be fine. Other then my co workers and family i have noone to really be there for or visa versa... those people who do that to you are just sad and you dont need them in your life anyways. Chin up it will be ok i promise dont let it get you down

I know how you feel..I learnt not to let it get to me so much so you sould do it to my friend..Friends like that are certenly not worth your friendship..

I always say you get 2 kinds of friends:

1) Those who will stand by you through thick and thin and always supports you no matter the curcumstances or the reasons.. "those are true friends"

2) Those who will only be your friend if they can get something out of it, those who will use and take advantage of good people like you and other good people as well..Those are not real friends like some of them who makes you feel bad and unhappy inside like you mentioned in your post...
