Ahh, I loved that movie. I wish Senna could have been a permanent character, though. Obviously they had to get rid of her, but...she was pretty awesome. Diamond Dust Rebellion was pretty good, too, but I like Memories of Nobody more...can't wait for Fade to Black! I think that one is going to be the best
I loved that movie! I was planning to see it in theaters, but I was whisked away to the Philippines, but guess what? they had it there too- on DVD!!!! I couldnt believe it- and it came with 2 OVAs. I am hoping I see Diamond Dust Rebellion soon! I am so....anxious, yeah, anxious.:)
Dammit, I missed the Memories of Nobody premiere but I did catch the Death Note one. It's wonderful to hear that people don't just cosplay for only conventions. i need to rephrase thatWell I was the only Matsuda for DN. I wasn't alone though, there were only one Mello and Near there too. The people were nice and fun to hang out with. Too bad it was on a school night. My dad had to drag me and my friends back.
Wonderful report. I can't wait for Diamond Dust Rebellion and the Last Name.
Loved the movie, though I saw it not in theatres, but online. I wish I lived in the states, but my parents would definitely never let me go to across the border to just watch anime. Wish they had it in Canada!
It took me about, ummm....45 minutes to get to the closest theater showing it. I was surprised mom actually agreed to take me! Went on the 11th.
There were a whole group of cosplayers sitting in my row, it was pretty cool!
I was disappointed in the lack of Yoruichi too, she was one of the few characters who wasn't in it! I missed seing Nanao too, even though she doesn't really have a big role in Bleach to begin with.
Overall though it was pretty cool, and I'm definitely buying the DVD when it comes out. I was a bit mad when I got home and found out there was a scene after the credits, but that's just a simple YouTube search. ^_^
I hope Viz releases some more anime movies like this...especially DiamondDust Rebellion!!

I went to the first showing. It was awesome, though Kenpachi was more of a comedian in the film. Laughing insanely, turning super sayin at parts while destroying everything. There was even a "Hell yeah!" for soi fon, and cosplayers galore. There was even a miss hat and clogs. Ah, good times.
Sure sounds nice but no Yoruichi? She's my all favorite too. I don't know man, I need to gaze at her sexiness once during an episode or movie. Or listen to the cat-form if she doesn't change.
I wish I could go in my Soifong costume, lol. Where was the other airing at? California?
I was also disappointed that there was no Yoruichi; she's my favorite character! The funniest parts are in the early beginning when Rukia acts out possible bystanders' reaction to Ichigo's "dead" body.
