Well, that's sad that the sales are going down, but gas prices do play a big role, some people who might have gone to the bookstore a lot might only go once a month now to save gas. On the other side, I absolutely love that "Human Textis" thing. and I agree about getting rid of american idol. I find it hilarious how we are starting to pick up on more and more Japanese ideals of game shows. Who knows what they'll come out with next!

Well, that was soul crushing news. Oh, and you might want to give your post a once over. The OPB are word hawks that will swoop down on any and all who spell a single word wrong. And, well, you sort of put "..get rib of American.."
The current decline in sales is most likely a result of inflating costs for the transportation business. With any luck it will fade by 2010 if the government shifts it's oil consumption away from energy by useing more renewable resources such as soler and wind power. But then again, the American government is a dinosaur. It moves slow and has a lot of damaged brain cells that like to get payed while doing nothing if you catch my drift. Hopefully a change in administration will start the cycle of change for the better.
