I hope it's live-action and not CGI "Live-action". The places I read about kept saying "3-D live-action" which I don't know if that means like with people in a higher dimension than the second one, or like TMNT. I think it's the former, but it's weird that they'd say that.
I guess as long as it is a little better than the fanboy-gasm that was the live-action Aeon Flux movie, it'll be fine by me. *rolls eyes* I'm sorry, but as far as sci-fi films go, that ended up not being very high on my list.
Spielberg's always attached to these kinds of projects, but never in a directing capacity. Hehe . . . ah well, he's the Oscar-winner, not me.
So far, though, all the names are lookin' good. Really, if anything, GitS is probably an easier one to adapt to live-action than not, funny enough. Just the feeling I get . . . unless they do it badly, of course . . .

geat idea great anime but what actress in bad ass effect to play Motoko....my money in on Milla Jovovich.

I'm glad that ghost in the shell will eventually become a live action movie, I just hope that they don't screw it up
