lol, I'm a really shy person at heart, so I'm sort of the same way. I'm a little uncomfortable around people I don't know, but in addition, I'm kind of awkward. But in this situation, you don't really get a choice. I think, though, that the experience has helped me grow out of my shell. I even made a new friend on my own, finally. We usually hang out after class Tues and Wed and talk about cartoons (anime and American) and whatever else we feel like. Anyway, moving in with strangers was scary at first, but you live with them, so there's usually some effort by everyone to get to know each other (except Jaclyn, ignored by her since day one). I'm pretty good friends with my room mate Kristi, and Christina's pretty cool, if quiet and reserved. She keeps to herself a lot, but if you talk to her, there's no problem.
Oh, and Jaclyn came back at four in the morning last night. I was half awake because of her messing around in the kitchen, so when she stomped (she has really heaving, pounding footsteps for such a skinny girl. It's like she's angry or something) into her room, I slipped out of mine and checked the door lock she usually forgets and turned off the kitchen light she always leaves on. Doing that I noticed an extra pair of shoes. She brought her bf with her.
Anyway... generally when you move in with strangers, they don't stay strangers for long. Except Jaclyn.

wow...honestly, I don't think I could live with a roomate unless I knew them really well and liked them, or if she was my sister or something...I'm just not comfortable around strangers...I'm a bit of a pack-animal that way lol.
