I agree. There should be an option afterward to be able to submit comments about choices...feedback...sent out to each of the entrants or something. It would be helpful. I mean, that's what I did with my last fanart challenge. I wrote a post and gave my comments/critiques/reasons for my choices and about all of the entries. :)

I love Mariel's self-portrait...she's so talented, but she's always putting herself down. It's sad. She's so amazing. I agree she should've won lol! But that's funny about what you said about one of your teachers. XD

As for Nami's entry, no. That wasn't a photoshopped photo. The whole fiasco was about how she photoshopped a photo of herself, but a fanart, but just a pic of herself. Technically then, that wasn't meant to look like her because she was basing that self-portrait off of what she wishes she looked like...or the false picture of how she made herself out to be. But I asked her straight-up, as friends, if she just paints over photos for her fanart. She said, honestly, no. Sometimes it's hard to believe, but what good is a friend if you're always questioning the validity of their answers? So I would have to say that her art is all authentic...even though I've had my concerns before, I like to believe her. :(
