I agree 100% as artists I think the world is our reference. I don't see anything wrong with it. It's like drawing from a model in an art studio. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
After seeing the picture that you drew with the fairy I was going to ask if you did indeed use references. Its such a good way to really expand on how dynamic your gallery can look. You can really see how much it improves your art!
Its so nice to see an artist mention that they use references since so many up and coming artists think its such a taboo thing to do. But how else do you learn such fickle things as human anatomy!!
