Hahahahaha I mean it's pretty good story if I do say so myself. It was a crisp early April morning. Just before 6:30 I was walking to work which at the time was only two blocks from my apartment. While waiting to cross the street I see a class of preschoolers getting off of a van led by a nun who I assume must have been their preschool teacher. It appeared that they were on some sort of outing perhaps to the bank near by. Out of the corner of my eye I catch sight of some gleaming white fur and realize that out here in the middle of the city there is a polar bear! Not only is it a large bear, but it is making a direct line for the children! There was no time to think! I knew that it was either me or the kids and not just the kids, but a servant of God! I knew I had to act so I did what any hero would do and rushed to put myself between me and what was certain to be horrible violence. I dove in as the bear swung it's massive paw! I was tossed to the side where I felt my elbow crumple beneath me. I was certain all was lost; however, just in the nick of time it's handlers arrived managing to tranquilize the animal before any further harm could be done. Apparently it had escaped during transport to it's new home while at a stop light. Something about a faulty padlock. The children and nun were safe. The bear was recaptured and I suffered nothing more than a fractured elbow and a torn ligament in my wrist....mind you anyone else watching might have simply stated that I crossed the street and stepped up on the curb where I immediately slipped on black ice and thus sustained my injuries....but I know the truth.
Yeah I'm in Oregon and we're getting smacked with winter. Also it is definitely a must to used closed captions on Pingu! It will definitely crack you up!
Sounds like my neighborhood; we've had this beautiful spring weather for a week and now we're back to several inches of snow. Oh well, at least it's covering the mud! Plus in my area, it's not unheard of to get mid-May blizzards.... I need to move to Florida, hahaha.
Wait, Pingu has CLOSED CAPTIONS?!?!?! Thank you for enlightening me. I must watch it again. "Stern Penguinese" is the greatest thing ever! XD

I got a little bit of snow in April, but it didn't stick. Yesterday was pouring rain and now it's cold again.
I want to hear the polar bear story!!!!
