Appearance: His soft hair frames a face full of boyish charm, though if one can read the angles and lines the right way, it shows of a life filled with hardships. His lips are thin, but always arranged in a slight smile. His jaw is strong and defined, leading to a long neck and small shoulders. Covering his chest is usually a scandalously tight polo shirt that highlights his lean torso, which leads to slim hips, upon which rest a pair of equally scandalous, equally tight jeans. Matthew is fond of wearing studded chokers and cloth bracelets, as well as the gold ring on his middle finger he never removes, a symbol of his close relationship with his twin brother, Trent.
Personality: Matthew is outgoing and cheerful, yet cunning and sly. He always wears a seductive smirk on his face, which hides his true feelings. A true thief, he can steal anyone’s’ heart in a…well, heartbeat. He is an optimist by nature, choosing to see the good that can happen rather than the bad. While he is easy-going by nature, anyone who messes around with his brother will feel the storm of his anger.
Background/History: He and his twin brother, Trent, work for a modeling agency in New York. Their parents put then up for adoption at the age of four, having become too poor to support them. Luckily, they were adopted together, but, unluckily, by people who weren’t exactly caring. They suffered much abuse at the hands of their new family, ranging from beatings all the way up to sexual assault. After being abused countless times over the four months they stayed, they ran away to live on the streets. Matthew learned quickly the art of pick-pocketing, and became an excellent thief in order to help his brother and himself survive. He still retains some of his old habits, even with a steady job and a stable lifestyle. His brother, however, became a prostitute, and often returned to his brother broken and crying. The two developed a rather intimate relationship as Matthew, who couldn’t stand to see his brother so desperate, continually reassured his brother the best way he knew how. He made his brother feel like he was loved and needed, not just a toy for other men and women to play with. Today, they still occasionally share this relationship, though not for the same emotional reasons.
