Appearance: His dirty blond hair frames a slightly feminine face, with soft cheekbones and naturally pouty lips. His nose is narrow and pert, matching his mischievous eyes perfectly. A graceful neck leads to strong shoulders and a lanky torso, muscled in all the right places. Usually found wearing polo shirts and tastefully baggy jeans, Cole’s entire wardrobe complements his model physique, from his shoulders, to his narrow waist, and down his long, shapely legs. If you’re lucky enough to glimpse him in one of his costumes (which really isn’t much luck at all—he’s always wearing them, despite there being no need), it would be apparent that he shaves the smooth skin regularly, giving them a cutely feminine look, accentuated by the glittery polish on his nails. All in all, Cole Blackwell’s “girly” appearance is often at odds with his rough n’ tumble attitude.
Personality: Cole is a naturally optimistic person, taking things in stride as they come. It was the only way he could bear to live another day of his life, to think of the good things in his life. He cusses a lot and can seem lazy and immature—wait. He is. But he knows when to be serious, despite his flirty nature, and deeply cares for those who care for him. He is loyal and trustworthy, and a real treasure to those who have his friendship.
Background/History: His mother died in labor, leaving his father to become single parent to him and his older brother, James. Then, when Cole was seventeen and finally told his father he was gay, his father committed suicide, unable to stomach the idea of one of his sons being gay. His brother, 22 years old and away at college, refused to take custody of him. He was moved from Maryland to live with an aunt and uncle in New York, leaving him isolated and alone at a new school. Three days later, his cat ran away. Cole Blackwell’s childhood was one wrought with strife and desolation. When he was eighteen, he entered into an abusive relationship, though he didn’t realize it at first. The guy was older than he, and protected him from those who made fun; Cole was grateful as it was. But after the man fired a few shots at him in anger, truly aiming to kill him, he ran away, making a new life for himself on the streets. He met a prostitute named Polly Langley, who took him in and taught him how to hook without being caught up in the world of pimps. He worked as a prostitute for years, with a steady gig at a strip club as a cross-dresser. He used the money he made to put himself through college part-time, and eventually rented out his own apartment. He was rather content with his lifestyle, until Polly died, and then one fortuitous day, he met Alix Renotta during one of his shows. After that…well, that’s a story for another day.
