I should have made myself clearer: Alien Nine is now one of my personal favorites; however, I'm still watching FAFNER. It's too early for me to say if FAFNER is a favorite or not, but I'll admit that it's good so far. And as far as I can tell, it's not too complicated.
I saw a bit of Fafner and it was interesting,it's hard to tell if the serie is old or it's new,I got mixed thoughts while watching it.Well if it's a personal fav I will have to watch it,lately I been resting from complicated series because school work already add that to my life, but it will be a nice change to monotony.
I have to watch more of FAFNER before I could recommend it, but if you like mecha anime then go right ahead and watch it! As for Alien Nine, I recommend that you watch that one. I consider it an instant favorite of mine.
I know I've had some experiences where I've felt a strange feeling, but it wasn't one of the good strange feelings. It was more like, "what the hell is going on!?"
When I used to watch anime quite often, I used to have dreams of visiting Tokyo. I always felt like a kid on Christmas when I had those dreams: "I can't believe I'm here!" However, those dreams have more or less passed since I've been directing my full attention to other things. Still, it was pretty nice to have one of those dreams again!
Lain and Gurren are great to watch if you have some time to spare.I think for my personal case my free time next week will be in extionction peril.Maybe I have the chance to watch the intro or Fafner before going to sleep.

I've wanted to watch Fafner for a while now. Be sure to tell me how it is when you finish it!
