Since the beginning of history, people have clamimed ownership of things that just belong to them on paper.I can't belive we even devided the planet that was undivided for millions of years. We will resort for sience in search of inmortality, and there is a chance we could acomplish it.When the sould is fnally "capitalized" and the body just a rack we will search for another one, just to find we don't have the sufficient resources to gain it.
It's quite surprising when you think about how much corporations own things, or have some sort of influence in something. Heck, even parts of the sky have been divided and called "air corridors" or "air routes", where only certain aircraft at certain times are allowed to fly. Some countries have even thought to privatize water services, an idea that went bad in Bolivia.
This whole topic is fascinating and worth thinking about, especially when you realize how much power and influence some trans-national corporations have.
Wanted to write something like this a few days ago.I was worried to see how actually the public property is so limited. The more the big companies reserch and advance, the more things they have to their disposal.I was actually angry when I heard that Marvel and DC want you to pay money if you use the words super hero.Since they state they made the word I rather see it as a compound of our dictionary.
I like how this documentary neither oversimplifies important issues, nor resorts to technical jargon that only the most hardened economists would understand. It finds a nice balance, I think.
Seriously, there were things in here I didn't know about, and they really made me think. Please give it a watch and tell me what you think.

Huh. This sounds like it's right up my alley, academically-speaking at least. Will definitely check this out!
