It's okay at first. Nothing too special, I think. But it does get more and more interesting because of some characters, especially Medaka Kurokami. The story itself slowly builds up with each episode, but it's fairly consistent with the fast pace. If you like loud, fast, anime (like some other Gainax produced anime) then I think you'll like it! These latter episodes are pretty good.
Of the one's I've mentioned, the one I can recommend without reservations so far is Jormungand. It's pretty darn good so far, especially if you enjoy slightly more serious anime with action.
I've heard plenty of good about Monster, so I'll eventually get around to watching it. However, since I watch anime slowly (one ep. per series per day) It'd take me - over two months to finish it!! Still, it does sound worth it.
I have not heard of any of those animes heh. I'll keep in mind some of these titles to watch for later. I've been rewatching Avatar Last Airbender and Naoki Urasawa's Monster recently.
