The endless sky

ok so .... I didn't want to fill the anime bag world with my strange short stories so I made this place a home for my original ones --this one is kinda ...strange O_O I wonder if ppl will get it...

The sky is endless. A guy watched it go by anyways. He felt that he too will understand the meaning of endless. Most people can’t understand the true meaning of that word. They say it’s like trying to count the grains of sand on a beach or the number of stars in the sky, but that’s not endless. One day you will at one point count the last grain and the last star. She told him that.
The wind blow, breaking the stiffness in the air, it was only strong enough to move the tip of his short brown hair. The light from the unseen sun is shining down and giving the day a cheerful mask.
“Even this perfect day can’t bring the light back in your eyes.”
The words left his pale rose lips clearly and without emotion. He tightens his fist without turning form the sky. The clouds were passing by and still he refuses to move.
“So many things to see and I haven’t seen anything outside this fantasy. How selfish you are, you seen this world for what it really is, yet you refuse to tell me why you let yourself die.”
He finished that sentence with a hint of anger. He couldn’t help it, he loved her. He loved her enough to give her what she wanted. He sighed, and stepped back from the edge of the flat roof of the school.
“I’m sorry I’m the reason you died once, but I’ll help you grow wings and die again.”
He took two more steps and took a stance. He stiffened his hand to secure the long sword. It shined even brighter because of the dancing sunbeams. Tears’ rolling down his cheeks, his mouth was a permanent scowl. He stood in front of the girl’s limp body.
The wind was blowing again. The tip of her long black hair floated with it. The strands hung over her pale face while hiding her eyes. She was propped up on the corner of the roof with her body facing the boy. She hands were on either side of her; the palms faced the skies.
The boy couldn’t help but to choke on his own words, but he still wanted to break the silents.
“I love you. I wish …I wish I could bring you the happiness you asked me to give you other than this. The day I told you I love you I knew we were met to be together, but then I felt that I could try to live my life without you. You cried and you were always sad, yet you told me you loved me. I couldn’t believe you”
He started coughing and his tears started to blind me.
“The day I said I wanted to leave you was the worst mistake of my life and my only regret. You cried and said you couldn’t live without me. How could I believe you?” He cried out and started shaking violently.
“If only you told me how you view this world. All you told me was the world was ugly and that you wish you could be happy and that you are when you have a light to chase the darkness.”
He couldn’t take it, the sword rattled in his unsteady hand. The collar of his shirt was soaked with his salty tears. He cried as if he was the one that has been cut and tortured. As if he was the one that was left alone in a room without a light to point the way.
“I WAS YOU LIGHT!!!!” He yelled with all his heart and soul. His eyes were unfocused now; no more tears could come out. His voice was a faint whisper,
“And I left you alone in the endless darkness. Now your soul has died. You are alive, but hallow. I left you when you need me and this time I won’t run and let your body return to your soul!”
He lifted his arms and the sword up in the sky. His unfocused eyes landed on its target in front of him.
The girl lifted her head and her hair moved to the side of her face. It uncovered her empty eyes.
“I love you too,” her pale face break into a fragile smile, “You are my light and you still came back to me”
He slashed her heart to free her.
“Endless is something you can’t count just like the name states. It’s not like sand or stars, it’s a bottomless pit. I’m can live myself falling in pain and never truly stopping.” He positioned the sword in front of his own heart.
“I don’t want to live like that so I choose the lesser of two evils, and die so I can be with you and watch the endless sky pass by us.”
