This advice is for you & your bro: BE PROUD OF YOUR WORK!!! If others don't like it, then THEY DON'T HAVE TO LOOK AT IT!!! They're probably just jealous!!!!(that's how I think of it) Just keep up the attitude you have and it will take you far.....
