Welcome to Black Prince!! This is a shrine dedicated to the wonders of the anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. All who are in love with this series are welcome! Enjoy!

Well..this is dissapointing...

Heyas!! This is GD with your weekly review of CGR2- can't believe it's almost the end...T_T ~wibble...what am I supposed to do with my life?
...okies. Onto business. Y'know, one would think that since we only have two more eps left of R2, that there would super climatic-in your face-holy cow-did not see that coming-episodes. But sadly...it appears that CG is loosing it's touch. Last season, by now I was shaking my computer screen, cursing sunrise for killing Euphy like that. But with R2...it's more like "meh~ show us something that we haven't seen already." ie, bringing back Nunnally. Yeah...Sunrise pulled a kami again and once again brought someone back whom was believed to be dead. How unique. Note the sarcasm in type.

So in episode 23, the major highlight i guess (if there even is one) is that Nunnally has officially declared herself to be Lelouch's enemy. Can't help but feel sorry for the guy...when the one reason why he did all of this goes and stabs him in the back like that (even though it was most likely Schienezel's doing). But you gotta hand it to the guy. He gets an A+ for acting. when asked if all of this was for her sake (ding ding ding!!), Lelouch pulls a Zero and laughs at her, calling her insolent. He tells her that all of this was for his own sake and that should she get in his way, he'll obliterate her. Of course, we all know Lelouch's reaction after this lovely convo is over. yeah...he nearly has a conipshit. But of course, like a good Knight, Suzazku is always there to give the guy a few beatings/pep talks when needed. So now visit to the psychiatric ward for Lulu.
Another little note is that dear little Viletta is pregnant..yup...great...just what this show needs...more chessy drama. It doesn't take a super genius to figure out what's going to happen....odds are that Ougi's gonna die. Happens 9/10 times. Once the guy finds out that his beloved is bearing his child, he is forced to go to war and in the end, gets himself machined down. Oh, what a sad story it is! gag me...

speaking of machine gun, it appears that Schinezel is even more of an ass than thought (if that's even possible at this point). When he says that killing 1 or 2 million citizens is nothing for world piece and that he may perhaps become God, Cornelia turns her sword against him...and of course, dear big bro has a machine gun oh so conviently hidden in a wall directly behind our sane princess that promptly shoots her down. Now as for whether Cornelia is actually dead or just pulling a Fido is still up for grabs. I mean, look what they did with nunally and Orange-kun...plus it seems weird to me for them to kill her off after keeping her alive after all this time.

The episode ends with a battle between the BK/Schienzel and Lelouch's army. and as for the outcome of this, well...that's a whole other episode(s)
oh and i think i should throw this out for the sake of it-Lancelot now has a female counterpart! Yeah...it's Lancy gone pink. I can hear the snorts already...

well, that's your weekly review!
till next time
