Before the next chapter, please reflect on this one-- the second scene in particular. First off, should I make the effects of Dice's blood wear away or not? On the one hand, his blood is what gives him his near immortality, so shouldn't his blood be able to survive in another body? Or is it because Naomi and Marshall are humans that Dice's blood can't survive. (I'll get into the details on that after chapter 10.)

The second point is whether or not that second scene, when Naomi is explaining her backstory, is redundant. If it is, should this part be rewritten or should the flashback in chapter 1 be cut? Or maybe a mix of both? This is something I really need to think about.
