Dainan
(Interview was originally conducted in Welsh for the benefit of the interviewee)
What’s your name and where do you come from?
Hello, my name is Dainan and I am from both North Wales and Queensland Australia.
(wow – that is a very large distance. . .)
Yeah, but I’ve spent most of my life on a farm in North Wales, it’s somewhere I hope to live in again.
What is your dream job?
David Attenborough *laughs* – that was always my go to answer ever since I was a little kid, the proper adult answer would be a naturalist. I love animals and the natural world, and I would love to be given the chance to explore and discover new creatures and learn about them.
Do you think this is achievable?
As long as I can out run my dad, it is. He unfortunately is determined to make me study law. It’s interesting in small parts but I would never want an office job and to perform in front of people in a court of law.
(who do you think will win?)
Mia (from afar): It won’t ever end, they’re both as flippin’ stubborn as the other!
Hey!. . . okay I can’t really deny that but h-hey . . .
I believe in you, what are your biggest fears?
Heights, and crowded places. I’m incredibly shy to begin with so too much people are not a great combination. *fidgets slightly* talking in front of people hasn’t gotten easier either.
(I know the feeling *hugs*)
Who are your best friends?
Ozzy and Hazel. I’ve known them all my life and I don’t know what I’d do without them, it feels strange being away from them and wish I could be with them again. Miah being my little sister is also very dear and best friend (Don’t tell her that, she’ll just want more ice cream), she’s very energetic and at times a bit exhausting, but I wouldn’t change her for the world and I’d be lost without her *laughs* There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to protect her. Andre is a really dear friend, we’re quite different from one another in many ways but he is incredible company and I’m glad I met him.
What is your worst habit?
Mia: *interrupts before Dai even gets a chance* He’s too much of a pushover and is too nice – although I do love him for that – people take advantage of him. His shyness is problematic too ‘cus he won’t tell people how he really feels and keeps it locked inside. Doesn’t trust his own powers. He can be stubborn as all hell sometimes, and he won’t go to the doctor when he’s injured or ill and will just suffer in silence! And-
Dai: *tries to jump in and defend himself*
Mia: No, no, no, no, this is all true and you know it! Why then, when you had an X-ray recently that it showed you had several old, healed fractures and broken bones huh? Even you didn’t know about them.
Dai: . . . :|
Mia: I do this because I care and love you! *hugs him and then leaves*
(Very passionate isn’t she. . )
*laughs a little* Yeah, but like I said, wouldn’t trade for the world :)
Let’s talk about animals~
What took you so long to get to this subject *smiles* Though we’d be here all day if we started.
(Okay, more specifically, animals you currently have and would like to have?)
Currently, I only have Tallulah, a cat I somehow managed to adopt as traveling.
(You seem like the type of person who would come home every day with a new pet.)
That would be a fair assumption. *laughs* I would love to have another dog at some point, but I haven’t quite recovered from the loss of Enid. I would love to have any animal; horses, dragons, ferrets, anything *smiles sweetly*
Thank you for the interview
Dim porblem :) (No problem)
