Hmm, shadows... Yeah probably, you are right! Thank you for pointing that out.^^ Working with shadows and shading can be quite tricky for me, but I will try to keep that in mind for me next one.^^
Ooh, well you see, I gave her that look and anatomy because I wanted to stay as much true to the main character as she looks from the anime. Something in between standard anime drawings and chibis. XD
Thank you very much for the comment! It is greatly appreciated. :)
I'm not good at critiques, so sorry if it's not helpful..>w<;;
I think there should be shadows on her hand. Since there's light coming in, there should be shadow under the windowsill too. I think you should add more meat to her arms; they look too skinny to me x3
Other than that, good job!
Thank you!^^
Mhm, got it then. I am usually quite bad at drawing hands and it took me some time until I even manged that. I even placed my hand on the mouse to see how it would look from looking at it, lol. But I guess I will get better with practice.
Haha, well I should have payed a better sight to the lineart there in the background. But still, it is BG so it is better to fail there. :P
Hm that sounds helpful. I thought about watermark, but kinda that would ruin the image in some way, huh.. I will think more about that later.
But yeah, that position that you said sounds nice. I will keep in mind for that.
Thank you for your comment and for all the critics and advices. :)
First of all, you did a nice job on the coloring !
Then, I must say that you should work on drawing hands and on the perspective. I think that following the same line than your signature would give a better one. Plus, the face is too geometrical, try to do it a bit more round.
Besides, it's sort of "fun" because while the lines of her hair are too straight sometime, those from the BG aren't enough straight...
For the signature, well, most of the time, I sort of blend it with the lines of my drawing. The simplest way would be to put it on the right hand corner, at the bottom. But you can also try to add a watermark.
