Thank you ^^ I plan on calling monday to ask about the whole thing. Okami willbe there hes driving my down and back up ^^ its a strange feeling though, Im excited because Ill have full use of my arm after. But Im nervous because Ive never done something like this you know? I mean, I still have my tonsils and everything. I do feel a little better about it though thanks to you guys ^^
Good luck on your surgery! I hope everything goes well for you. Talking to the doctor about everything should help your nervous thoughts. I'm sure they'll be able to clarify what exactly they're going to be doing, and if it helps, bring something with you that makes you feel better. Surgeries are always scary and serious operations, so you'll need lots of comfort. I'm sure Okami will be there to support you as well. Best of luck! ^^
Thank you keba ^^ you have some good points. I never thought of that. As for the hospital, Im not sure how long Ill be there. Theyre doing a wrist scope at first to see what the problem is then theyll fix it...if they find anything. -_- the "plastic surgen" they sent me to in town thinks Im lying about the whole thing. Poo on her. Anyway, thank you for the advice. It really helps ^^
Yes, surgery is a scary thing to think about, but after all the anesthesia, you'll hardly remember a thing about it. It might hurt after the fact, but that'll go away after a while. I hope you wont have to stay in the hospital for too long.
Make sure Okami gives you plenty of support because patients can't always advocate for themselves. But if you feel like you can be your own advocate, by all means, exercise your right to do that.
If taking a plushie helps you, by all means, take it! In fact, bring something to read or listen to, as well. Hospitals are boring places, and you have to pass the time somehow. After all, walking up and down the halls can be interesting for only so long.
If you take anything away from this post, know that I wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
I'm glad you got the surgery date and i really hope it helps but yes doing that can be scary!! Just know you are always in our thoughts!!! Keep us updated
-hugs back- Im 23 also ^^;; I was worried I was being kinda childish it makes me feel better knowing Im not the only one though. I used to sleep with a Jack Skellington plushie Okami got me when we were still dating. (Before I moved from NC to MD where he was) I still have him now sitting on the headboard lol its funny how things like that can help. I do feel a little better though ^^
I hug a plushie dolphin when I go to bed and I'm 23 years old. If a cat plushie would help you take one. *hugs* Good luck with your surgery. I hope they fix your arm. *more huggles*
