They are indeed =/ that's what my class is actually. Math. It's just getting used to it really. What I like is you get instant feedback after putting your answers in. That way I know when I get it wrong. However, I don't think it's worth $100
Those access codes are always a nuisance ; I think access codes should be used sparingly cuz turning hw online doesn't make sense for classes like math or science.
My school bookstore advertise that buying the code and books separately is cheaper..but only by 20 bucks or so...so buying it brand new is better. Next time when you need to buy books again, you will look out for those annoying access codes :) good luck with school!! I start my summer class next week ;)
It's certainly a good idea and I'll into check it out once I get to the college. We talked with the book company and the place we rented from and they basically gave us the middle finger. The renting place did refund the money though so that's a good thing.
It's ok xD you're right, it is something that interests me. I'll check that out too. I didn't realize season 3 was out yet I think I've only watched 1 and 2. I've been watching so many dc movies with Okami lately I haven't been keeping up with much else.
Maybe someone could start an online petition or something to change things.
In the meantime, if you're looking for something to cheer yourself up, you could check out my latest post in my Anime/Music Connection world. I did a ranking of the three ending themes from Sailor Moon Crystal: Season 3 from best to worst. It's not the best post I've ever written, but it should be a good diversion for a few minutes.
Sorry for the shameless self promotion just now. That post just seemed like something you might like.
Well, I'm glad that you at least didn't have to drop the class. Still, it seems like there's something wrong with the system. The college bookstore should at least make more obvious that the rented textbooks don't included the needed access codes for online class content. Like some kind of notice in big red print.
What we didn't see was it was in the description but, problem is we ordered it because it was advertised as being cheaper for then the campus school. Well, yes. Sort of but, I had to spend an extra $100 for the code. I'll have to spend another $100 in two weeks for the next class because that book didn't come with it either. If Okami didn't get paid today, I would have dropped it because we wouldn't have had the money.

That's pretty screwed up that the rented textbooks don't come with the needed access codes for online portions of a class. Somebody should really fix that, because that's not fair to the students.

Yeah, like they should've put a sign in the store or something. This is just messed up.

Without the access code I'd be locked out of the class. I agree though, it's insane. It makes me sad

That's crazy! They should advertise that better. I'm glad you can continue with the studying but wow. Is there a library you can use?
