Today on The DC and Marvel Heroes Forum, I decided to post a forum topic post where you are invited to share your memories of the Superman category of the DC Universe franchise from over the years, although the 75th anniversary of Superman's official debut is not until 4/18/2013. Yes, DC Comics' premier super-hero has been around for such a long time and still remaining a fresh pop culture icon for western society, even still being one the most popular superheroes from all fiction.
Anyway, here are some questions you may want to consider: What are your favorite Superman adventures/battles? How you first got to know Superman? Any favorite characters from the Superan comics? What are your thougths/feelings about the DC New 52's revamp/reboot of Superman so far? Would you say Superman has gotten better or worse in comics over the years? Any favorite moments in filmed Superman media (examples: the 1996 animated Superman T.V. series and Smallvile)? Any merchandise collected so far (ex: statues)?

Hungry for more adventures of Otto Octavius the Superior Spider-Man. Well if so, July will be your month as Marvel Comics during then will launch three spin-off comic book series titles spinning off from the currently running hit-selling ongoing series The Superior Spider-Man.
- Superior Spider-Man Team-Up: Ttitle sounds misleading as this ongoing series will deal with The Superior Spider-Man facing off against another superhero of the main Marvel Universe in each issue in addition to hunting villains.
- The Sinister Foes of Spider-Man: This ongoing series will star a new roster for the Sinister Six, which includes Boomerang, Shocker, Speed Demon, Overdrive, and the Beetle.
- Superior Carnage: This limited series of 5 issues will explore an atempt to advance or restore the Carnage symbiote following the lobotomization of its host Cletus Cassidy.
Also in July, Marvel will introduce Otto Ocatvius' new Spider-Man outfit in The Superior Spider-Man No. 14.

This summer, get ready for a superhero war never before told in the DC Universe Canon. And it's not just any supehero war. It's a war between Justice Leagues (in the Post-Flahspoint Earth-0's/DC New 52 Universe's history anyway); The original Justice Leaugue Vs. Justice League of America Vs. Justice League Dark, with each JL group supported by a different member of the so-called Trinity of Sin (we're talking The Phantom Stranger, Pandora, and The Question). And it will told be told throughout the six-issue storyarc "Trinity War", to begin in July with Justice League (Vol 2) No. 22 and finish in August.
Justice League writer Geoff Johns has this to say on why this storyarc is worth teh read:
"It's going to be really interesting when these characters do come together, because some of them haven't met, some of them have, and what happens and unfolds in this is going to force them to choose sides".
I'll end this post with a shot of the promo art for this upcoming epic storyarc by DC Comics, courtesy of USA Today.

Today, I just happened to find out from IGN that DC Universe character Carrie Kelly (whose first introduced incarnation is from the universe of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns) will finally have an incarnation to exist Prime Earth, the core universe of the DC New 52 Multiverse. She's set to appear in Batman and Red Robin No. 19 (to continue the run of Batman and Robin Vol. 2 after its 18th issue), which will be released on 4/10/2013, but DC Comics' website indicates that the 21st issue will have the series name reading "Batman and Batgirl" while Newsma indicates the 20th to carry the series name "Batman and ed Hood" (the series name changing is probably for a temporay time until writers see which works best since Damian Al Ghul's death in Batman, Incorporated Vol. 2 No. 8). This will be the first time a Batman character whose first-shown version from a non-main DC Universe gets a counterpart from the mainverse of a DC multiverse (remember Terry McGinness/Batman Beyond anyone?). Check out the cover from the coming issue, alos found at IGN.
