News: Iron Man's 1st Anime Film Now Released

Do you like Iron Man or anime giant robots/powered suits or even both? Well say no more, because today marks the release of the made-for-DVD anime film Iron Man: Rise of Technovore, spinning off from Marvel Anime: Iron Man. I don't know about Japanese release dates, but it's definetely availible in North America. In this film, Tony Stark/Iron Man must clear his name when he's accused by SHIELD of murdering innocent people (most notably his best friend James Rhades/War Machine) during an attempt to stop a violent threat, and he'll need the help of Frank Castle/The Punisher, but to make matters worse for Tony, his enemey Ezakiel Stane (son of the Iron Monger) has unleashed a deadly tech called "technovore" with Black Widow and Hawkeye trying to hunt down the powered armored superhero himself.

Japanese release dates are unknown at the moment, but it's definetlty available in North America. For all you North America-based mecha otaku out there, including those struggling to cope with both the apparent dominance of ecchi fan service in today's anime and the apparrent decline of non-comedic serious anime content, this a movie is a must-watch.
