So far, the hit animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold (2008) ended its run about three months ago. Now, it looks like DC Comics is bringing the B: TBATB saga to a close with the 16th and final issue of the show's second comic book series tie-in The All-New Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which is released today in stores where comic books are sold. Although this is not one of the mainstream continuity DC Universe comic book series, it's sad to see the retro-esque saga that paid homage to silver age DC comic book stories end sooner than expected (or at least a tragedy for fans of the show).
What's the story in the finale issue: Bat-Mite causes mayhem again in Batman's universe, but this time, he creates problems for his crush Batgirl on Valentine's Day. When considering continuity, it may well be set before the B: TBATB show's finale episode "Mitefall" where Bat-Mite tried to get Batman's universe, revealed to be inside a T.V. show within a show the whole time, eliminated permanently by T.V. network executives.
