well first off the male to female ratios make it a tad hard to get a female combee, but very worth it for the popular psychic and dark types. The move "attack order" in a 90 crit+ attack.

It's not that hard to get. Just raise a female combee and anyone can get it. Personally despite it's pressure ability, I don't really see much of it being special because it has the weakness a scyther has. Gets beaten by rock, electric, flying, ice, fire... you know

And females are pretty hard to get when it comes to pokemon that are given to you ^^
It does depend, but it kinda makes you wonder...

That pokemon has more unqiue attacks than anyother, inculing the ledgendarys, and it's super hard to get. My cousins refer to it as the only bug pokemon to have, though my Heracross, Scizor, and Ninjask, and Armaldo disagree.

Yes, I realize all of the pokemon rules and percentage rates. It is a good thing to be getting them as female because it helps breed easier in the long-run and males are easier to come by. I'm just wondering because my friend has gotten to the same point I have and he's chosen a girl on one of his games, and also has a female Togepi and Eevee too, while on his main game where he's a boy, he has a male Eevee and Togepi.

No, it's Ethan. Jimmy had hair in the front of him and it comes down long. Ethan does not have that. Oh, and the rival technically does have a name in the Manga and it's Silver

If I remember correctly, there is a one-in-seven chance of a starter being male. Same for Togepi and Eevee. I forget what other Pokemon have that female/male ratio. I'll have to check Bulbapedia. Anyway, I doubt your game is sexist. It's all chance, anyway. And I think you're very lucky to be getting all those female Pokemon since they're so hard to come by.

On a side note, I noticed that you referred to the boy character as Ethan. I don't know why, but I thought his name was Jimmy. Maybe I'm just confused. Oh, and does the rival character have a name? Just curious. Sorry to be digressing from the topic.

Though I can understand how the game creators may be thinking girls would want more female pokemon and the boys would want more males...

I caught a good balance between the two, more males than females for me though, but when it comes to starters or eevees, I'd use a Ditto to help breed

Yeah, this is weird really. I once got a female torchic in a egg and I was PISSED. I gotten so many females it's not funny. The reason I always use dittos for mating is because most of the time I couldn't get a male.
