If you get a good enough speed run, you could even upload the recording of it to your YouTube channel. It'd compliment the 100% walkthrough of the game that you already have on there. :V
To give you some scale, the current record for a single segment any% run is 0:32 and the time the SpeedGamers guy got on his second run in the marathon was 0:59.

0:52 sounds impressive to me, but then again I know little about what a good speed run time is for Super Metroid.
