Well that's still awesome that you now have an even greater collection of anime and manga!!.....Man I've never even seen a hurricane...it must be horrifying..
BUt anywho, yea, classic cartoon films like that need to be treasured and collected. I'm trying all I can to bring back the magic of 2D animation. That's what my goal is in life. I'm going to make films that would seem like they should have been released in the 70s-90s!! hahah!
To be honest, I'm not really sure. I thought I might've heard one of their other songs in your video for The Bitter Find, but it's been so long since I've seen that video so I could be mistaken. :/
Anyway, yeah we lost all of our movies save for the few that we brought with us. We grew up running from hurricanes so we're used to leaving some stuff home, but this was the first one that hit our neighborhood in my lifetime. I lost all of my Yu Yu Hakusho DVDs, along with some other anime. Thankfully, I brought two YYH DVDs with me and now the series comes in cheaper box sets so I will be able to get them all back eventually. An upside is that my anime and manga collections are much bigger now than they ever were. :D
Btw, I tried watching Once Upon A Forest on youtube last night, but no one really has the videos uploaded. One guy has part 1 and 2 uploaded but the rest got taken down, which isn't surprising but still it would've been nice to watch it again. I recently bought The Secret of Nymph again and I still love it. Next time I go to Walmart, I'll look for Once Upon A Forest.
Old movies like that really mean a lot to me because there's nothing being made today that can compare to the classics.
Oh thank you!! I used another song from Globus in my videos?? o - 0...haha I love Diem Ex Dei!!..
Oh my goodness!!! You were in hurricane katrina??? D: ACKK That's so horrible!!!! That's good about getting Ferngully back through...wow...I would be so crushed to have lost all of my movies..
And yes, I have seen all of those movies!! Except I can't remember the Thief and the Cobbler all too well...nor Little Nemo..but it's makes me feel so glad to hear wsomeone talk about these movies!!

I absolutely LOVED Fern Gully!! I've also seen the Pagemaster, The Last Unicorn, and Once Upon a Forest (though I don't remember it that well). That one, Dark Crystal, reminded me of The Neverending Story. XD
That's back before they started relying on computers for everything. >.< The quality of those movies was amazing.
Ok, first off... GREAT song choice! I noticed you used songs from Globus in a couple of your videos. :D Love their music, especially Europa and Prediator. As for your movies.... I know half of them: Fern Gully, The Pagemaster, The Hobbit, The Dark Crystal, and Once Upon A Forest!
We lost all of our old movies in Hurricane Katrina, but my sister bought Fern Gully again so I've watched it a few times since then. That is one of my all-time favorites!! I really miss Once Upon A Forest, though! D:
My brother and I watched The Fellowship of the Ring last week, and I felt nostalgic for the animated version of The Hobbit. Did you know that they're supposedly making a live-action film of The Hobbit to go with The Lord of the Rings Trilogy?
As for other great forgotten animated films I know, have you seen: The Thief and the Cobbler, The Princess and the Goblin, Little Nemo: Adventures in SlumberLand, Rock A'Doodle, or Troll in Central Park? I haven't seen the last three in years, but I recently watched The Princess and the Goblin and it's still great as ever! And the Thief and the Cobbler I remember all too well, so I know it's a great movie. =3
It's awesome to find someone who's a fan of the old films. Sorry this is such a long post... ^^; I'll stop here I guess.

Wow, I really like that idea. I love all of your short animations, and I'd love to see full-blown movies made by you. (I'd definitely buy them! XD)
