Poking his head into the room, Psyche peered in to see Izaya sitting quietly at his desk. His eyes were fixated on his computer but it was clear to Psyche that his mind was elsewhere. Bounding into the room, Psyche happily made his way over to his counterpart.
Approaching Izaya, he threw his arms around him, hopping into his lap, “Izaya-kun!”
The actions of the clone immediately broke the informant’s concentration as he now had a weight in his lap, clinging to him with affection.
Pulling back from his hug, Psyche smiled as he now made eye contact with Izaya, “What are you doing?”
“Shouldn’t you know that seeing as how you can hear my thoughts?” Izaya asked staring up at him with calm expression.
“I can but I thought I would be polite and ask anyway,” Psyche smirked cunningly in response. “Why are you thinking about Shizuo? I thought you hated him.”
“I do,” Izaya said. “That’s why I have been thinking of him. Fighting with him has become monotonous. All our fights are the same. I think it’s time I gave him a new reason to hate me.”
“Oh?” Psyche asked. “What are you going to do?”
“I wonder how Shizu-chan would fair against someone like you,” Izaya spoke, his tone more reflective than suggestive.
“Would Shizu-chan even know the difference between Psyche and Izaya?” Psyche asked.
Izaya smiled. His eyes shifted from Psyche to the wall. “I wonder.”

It had been a long day. Shizuo let out a passive sigh. Watching him from the couch, Izaya quickly jumped up, cupping his hands and making a grabbing motion in front of the bartender as he ‘caught’ his sigh. His quick movement startled the bartender who blinked, now staring at the information trader standing in front of him with his hands closed as if he had captured a lightning bug.
“What are you doing?” Shizuo asked.
“Saving your happiness,” Izaya said. Keeping his hands cupped, he looked around, finding and empty water bottle. Mimicking motions, he placed the ‘sigh’ into the bottle, capping it to keep it inside. Shizuo watched him curiously. “When you sigh like that, it’s your happiness escaping.”
Giving him a skeptical look, Shizuo now looked at the bottle that was holding his ‘happiness’. “You’re going to keep my sighs? What are going to do with them?”
“I’ll keep them and then when enough get collected I’ll make you a smoothie,” Izaya said.
“A ‘sigh’ smoothie?” Shizuo asked.
Nodding, Izaya held the bottle, now sitting down on the couch beside the bartender. “Well this is your happiness puffed away. I will make you a smoothie. Then when you drink it you won’t be losing your happiness because you will be getting it all back in smoothie form.”
Shizuo blinked. Watching him, Izaya leaned over, placing a soft kiss on the bartender’s cheek. “They are your sigh puffs. I’m going to keep them safe for you.”
Hearing his sincerity, Shizuo gave Izaya a soft smile, “Thanks flea.”

Izaya entered into the apartment. Yelling for Shizuo he glided into the living room to see the bartender asleep on the couch. Ever since Shizuo had been hired for a position in one of the local bars, his schedule kept his sleep off balanced. Working odd hours of the morning and during the day, the bartender had become accustom to taking naps in the afternoon. Smiling, Izaya walked over to the couch where Shizuo was resting.
Leaning down, he nudged the bartender lightly, “Hey Sleepyhead, wake up.”
Shizuo let out a light groan, his eyes fluttering open from being nudged. When he didn’t wake up immediately, Izaya sat on him, bouncing up and down on him on the couch. “I happened to see you earlier today. You looked busy at work so I didn’t bother you.”
Being bounced on, Shizuo reached his hands up, grabbing the information trader by the hips to stop his bouncy movements. “Oh? You mean you didn’t try to make me lose my job?”
With the bartender’s hands stopping his movements, Izaya smiled, “Now Shizu-chan, you worked so hard getting this new job. Why would I make you lose it so quickly?”
“You did it with all the other ones,” Shizuo said.
“And were we living together when you had the other jobs?” Izaya asked, his eyes shifting downward towards the bartender.
“No,” Shizuo said. “That makes a difference?”
The information trader moved, lying down on his stomach on top of Shizuo. Swinging his legs back and forth behind him playfully he smiled in his response. “I like seeing Shizu-chan’s smile. I know it will go away if I made you lose a job. Besides, today I was busy. I didn’t have time to play with you.” Leaning forward, the information trader purred, “Maybe if you’re a good boy tomorrow, I’ll give it my full attention.”

Psyche sat on the floor of the living room. Watching the television, he hummed to himself happily whenever the commercials came on. From his position on the sofa, Izaya sat curled up under one of the sofa blankets. A phone in his hand, he kept his focus on the screen, texting emails and messages as he began closing out his daily routine of informative discussion with his clients. Rocking back and forth from his position on the floor, Psyche glanced up towards his twin curled up on the couch. Smiling, he crawled over, looking up at the information trader.
“What are you doing?” Psyche asked curiously.
“Nothing,” Izaya responded. He did not meet Psyche’s glance as he continued to work using his phone.
Not satisfied with that remark, his double now crawled up onto the couch, leaning forward, “If it’s nothing then why are you messing with your phone so much?” Psyche reached for it, his curiosity peaked. “I want to see!”
Izaya turned his body just as Psyche reached over. The double fell, landing face down in the couch, his grasp avoided. Looking down at him, Izaya frowned when he saw his clone ‘come back to life’. Lying down on the couch, Psyche turned so that his head was in Izaya’s lap. Looking up at him, he smiled.
Izaya frowned, “If it was any of your business I would let you see it.”
Psyche’s eyes seemed to light up, “You would?”
Izaya smirked. Pushing Psyche off the couch, he smiled, “No. I wouldn’t. But that slight sparkle of hope getting crushed was enough to amuse me through the last set of commercials.”

“Izaya, bring me a glass of water,” Shizuo yelled from the living room. From his position on the couch he had spent the morning counting quarters that he had been finding throughout the house.
Coming into the living room, the information trader walked over to the bartender, tauntingly holding the glass of water just out of his reach. As Shizuo grabbed for it, he continued to pull back, smiling as he teased, “Here it is. Nice yummy water. Take it! Take it!”
Reaching for it several more times and not being able to obtain the glass, the bartender resorted to simply smacking the information trader. His hand knocked Izaya over as Shizuo grabbed the glass before it could spill.
“Shizu-chan!” the information trader protested from the floor. Standing up, he dusted himself off as he walked around the coffee table towards the couch, “So mean you are. And here I was doing something nice for you.”
“You are being very ‘fleaish’ today,” Shizuo remarked. Taking a sip of water he set the glass down on the coffee table.
Izaya smile, “I thought you liked it when I was ‘fleaish’. I’m glad you’re my Shizu-chan.” Leaning over he pressed a kiss against Shizuo’s cheek, smirking as he purred into his ear, “Smack me again and I’ll pour water all over you. Then you’ll be my wet Shizu-chan.”
Shizuo felt his eyes narrow. Shaking off the insinuation, the bartender returned to counting the found money only to be interrupted when Izaya began rambling off numbers. Distracted, the bartender lost count. Agitated he turned, smacking Izaya in the arm. Without hesitation, the information trader grabbed the glass of water on the coffee table and in one fluid motion dumped it on top of the bartender’s head.
Laughing, Izaya smiled, now holding the empty glass. “Oh no! Shizu-chan is all wet now!” Throwing the glass to the side, he reached forward, grabbing the bartender by the shirt, “Well, off those clothes must go! We don’t want you to catch a cold.”
“What?!” Shizuo asked with startled expression. Before he could respond, Izaya began pulling at his shirt. “Stop pulling! You’ll break the buttons off!!” Realizing it was a ploy the bartender growled, “Fucker. You planned this all along didn’t you?”
Opening the bartender’s shirt, Izaya smiled, now crawling into Shizuo’s lap. “I would do no such thing!” Leaning forward he smirked, placing his hands on Shizuo’s chest, “Shizu-chan.”
Shizuo just frowned. “I hate you.”
