Izaya could feel the warmth of the bartender leave him. Lying there he let out a soft groan of irritation. The excitement and fun had long since ended. Now, he could feel pain all over his body. Reaching to the back of his neck, his fingers slowly grazed over his skin feeling the multiple bite marks left behind by Heiwajima Shizuo. Izaya felt his eyes narrow. They were all over his neck, on his shoulders, on his arms and his legs. The information trader lowered his hand. He closed his eyes, letting out a heavy sigh.
So much for safety words…

The bartender let out a yawn. Lighting up a cigarette, he took a slow draw, hoping the nicotine would wake up his system. Noticing his tired state, Tom turned his head, looking at Shizuo.
“Another rough night?” Tom asked.
“Yeah,” Shizuo replied. “That bastard flea wouldn’t leave me alone. I didn’t get any sleep.”
“I don’t know why you let him stay with you,” Tom said. “Ever since he’s been living with you, you always come to work tired. Is he really harassing you that much?”
The bartender remained silent for a moment. He then let out a smoky exhale, “You have no idea.”

Poking his head into the room, Psyche peered in to see Izaya sitting quietly at his desk. His eyes were fixated on his computer but it was clear to Psyche that his mind was elsewhere. Bounding into the room, Psyche happily made his way over to his counterpart.
Approaching Izaya, he threw his arms around him, hopping into his lap, “Izaya-kun!”
The actions of the clone immediately broke the informant’s concentration as he now had a weight in his lap, clinging to him with affection.
Pulling back from his hug, Psyche smiled as he now made eye contact with Izaya, “What are you doing?”
“Shouldn’t you know that seeing as how you can hear my thoughts?” Izaya asked staring up at him with calm expression.
“I can but I thought I would be polite and ask anyway,” Psyche smirked cunningly in response. “Why are you thinking about Shizuo? I thought you hated him.”
“I do,” Izaya said. “That’s why I have been thinking of him. Fighting with him has become monotonous. All our fights are the same. I think it’s time I gave him a new reason to hate me.”
“Oh?” Psyche asked. “What are you going to do?”
“I wonder how Shizu-chan would fair against someone like you,” Izaya spoke, his tone more reflective than suggestive.
“Would Shizu-chan even know the difference between Psyche and Izaya?” Psyche asked.
Izaya smiled. His eyes shifted from Psyche to the wall. “I wonder.”
