Well, would you look at that.
Tumblr seems to be down at the moment... so I'll just rant here. I'm stuck in the house for the next few days because I just had surgery on my foot and it HURTS! Still feels kind of heavy due to the anaesthesia (did I even spell that properly?) and all that stuff, but at least that icky wart thing is gone... >_<
Well, at least I have plenty of time to catch up on Bleach and KHR... and since I've got this much free time I ought to introduce myself properly.
The name (well, screen-name) is Elora, and I'm a 16-year-old nerd and writer-in-training. My anime-related interests include KHR and Bleach (as I said before), and basically anything action-packed, though I'm known to enjoy the odd shoujo series from time to time. I've been studying Japanese since I was nine and will be starting French next year, so anyone who speaks either of those can feel free to contact me. I wouldn't call myself a "hardcore" fan, for I like many, many non-anime fandoms, but since this site focuses on anime stuff I'll mainly be talking about those here. Nor am I the "KAWAII DESU DESU" type, so please, please try not to talk like that around me. I understand how tempting it can be, because trust me, I've been there before, but I find it a little childish... a simple "It's cute!" will get the message across just as well.
I love music, mostly in English, but definitely also enjoy many J-pop groups and the odd Korean song (not just Gangnam Style). As far as English-language artists go, I love Mumford and Sons, Birdy and Birds of Tokyo (my friends say I'm a hipster, and honestly I'd have to agree there xD) My favourite Japanese band is Asian Kung-Fu Generation, and I could probably name loads of their songs if you asked me 
And obviously, I'm a big fan of cupcakes (the icon, dude!) I've seen gifts on people's profiles here, so if anyone could give me cupcakes, I'd appreciate it

Dreams and stuff.
OMG! First post! *waves*
Well... last night I dreamed that I was the star of a rather... inappropriate fanfic. It was Bleach, which is odd because I've barely watched any of that (cue the "HOW COULD YOU!? EVERY ANIME FAN HAS SEEN ALL OF BLEACH!" Don't worry, I'll get to it eventually xD) I'd somehow morphed into a Soul Reaper named Maren (where the heck does my subconscious GET these names!?) and... was in all these different pairings. It was weird, to say the least. And the lemon-y nature of it all was caused by me watching all these Britney Spears parodies just before I fell asleep. No, really.
I also wonder what the point of creating this world was... since I already have a Tumblr and all that. But my fantasy novel-obsessed followers would be bored to death by all these anime-related posts, so I'll stick to writing about anime-related stuff here.
Also expect to see posts in Japanese and French sometime, since I already know the former quite well and will begin learning the latter next year.

P.S. Should I use simpler language when I write here or what? I know it all sounds kinda formal... but that's just because I'm used to being surrounded by adults on the internet. I love my LOLs and OMGs and WTFs, there's no denying that. I should get into the habit of using them more...
