Generally, life isn't too bad. Had a Spanish test yesterday that was fun, but I have five years of fluency to thank for retaining a base knowledge of the language which served me incredibly well.
I'm a little perturbed that room inspections are tomorrow for my dorm, and in the last two days, we've had our water shut off twice due to a gas leak and ensuing repair work... the water is coming out disgustingly white and cloudy, and I am NOT WASHING DISHES IN THAT. They can be shoved in the closet and washed later. Especially since we only got two days' notice for inspections when we are entitled to a full week's notice according to housing bylaws.
Mfffers.
In other, more amusing news, my art history professor slash mentor slash angel gave me a free pep talk this morning when I told him I'd have to cancel my appointment to visit him during office hours to talk about my meme research proposal. He straight up said, "I can't imagine you're nervous about it, but if you are, you've got this. I have full confidence in you. I know you can do it."
