Aw, thanks hun. I know you'd have supported me if I told you what was really going on inside of my head. I didn't want to go on meds either so I tried every alternative that they listed on websites and such to fight depression on a more natural level. Everything would work for maybe a day to a week and then I'd just plummet back down to where I started or even worse.
When talking to the doc about it she said that there are just some instances where natural things will not work because of a chemical imbalance which is just what she thought I have. She said that I needed a "boost" to kinda...re-align things in my head and then after 6 months to a year, I'd teeder off the meds. Mostly since I haven't felt this way all my life, just over the past year or so.
So yeah, I never really trusted these kinds of meds either but sometimes, enough is enough and you need to get over the stubbornness to seek help about it. And I sure as heck am stubborn! *snicker*
I didn't want to take meds for it but I kept trying alternatives and nothing would work. I guess I was desperate. lol! I feel tons better though, I really really do. I just can't wait for the muscle cramps to go away. I feel like there's bugs crawling under my skin and I need to run 1,000 miiles.XD
And yes, I did watch Ghost Hunters! I'm assuming you did too? I laughed when Tango was dancing under the chandelier with Steve using the laser pointer.XD XD XD
I love growing plants. It's fun. We always start stuff in a greenhouse each spring. My mom has a garden that we grow stuff in every year.
oO Well I'm sorry you've been feeling bad. I don't know anything about depression. I hope the meds help, once you get used to them. ^^ I didn't know they could give you all sorts of weird side effects. o_o
Congrats on the herbs growing! ^_^ That's definitely a plus~
Aww, yup, depression. :( Sounds horrible! *hugs* But it seems...like those symptoms could've been anything! I'm quite sure that everyone in my family has depression, but they don't want to be diagnosed as such and get meds. ^^; My parents think they just make things worse, so I really hope that isn't the case! *hugs* They should help you...although the side-effects sound wretched. :/ Then you need another prescription to help with the other! Lol, oh well. As long as you get better.
Just relax and do what you can. ^_^ I hope things work out for you!! <33 Have a nice Easter!
I'm glad you got up the nerve to go to your doc. Good Thing, that.
Ach, cramps! They're awful, though I've never felt them to the extent you're describing.
Time always spirals, and here I am, stuck in the wrong sprial.
As hard as it may have been to admit to yourself that something was wrong, it was definitely the right choice. I hope the medication helps (and that the symptoms die down soon!), though from what you said, they seem to be doing just that already (helping, that is - good luck with the extra symptoms...).
We'll end this on a brighter note though - yay for your herbs growing! I can appreciate where you're coming from there. I remember my fourth grade teacher gave me a spider plant (she actually cut one of the little baby ones off of her own plant and potted it for me) and I still have it to this day, though it has since grown and multiplied into quite a few more pots.

aw i thought you were over your depression, i didn't think that depression can happen to someone physically. it must suck having to take medicine for it, especially one with those side effects. i hope that you start getting better and that you have a wonderful week end. ^_^
