Revelation

It was a moment of shock and a moment of surprise
I felt like a champion receiving his awaited prize
This world I hated so much,and all the things I despise
All the fake smiles and gestures,in this life all you need is a good disguise
A proud long path that keeps growing thinner with time
My iron steps begin to limb,the more I witness of death and crime
My sole proud path separates into hundreds of distorted lines
Curving breaking roads into the unknown,a vast field riddled with signs
Every action I do is doubtful,everything I say is a mouthful
My sense of right and wrong is twisted,My way of thought is insisted
I lose sight of myself and soon forget what emotions I once consisted
What's this? a stranger straddling a sole road in the distance
the stranger curiously waddles over to me"are you in need of assistance?"
The gesture he presents seems honest,the way he talks is modest
He takes my hand and invites me to walk on his path for a while
I instantly agree,anything to escape my binding tiles
My spirits are lifted,my sadness has drifted,my mood has shifted,
The stranger speaks words of comfort,words of compassion
The stranger speaks in fortitude and in a fiery passion
Words I thought were legends,words that i thought were only muttered in heavens
My dying fire is fueled,the chill in my soul is expelled
the pain in my heart starts to lessen,to him I held no confession
My hope is renewed,his words only compassion and sympathy include
"It's time for me to go" the stranger beckons a light in the shadows
I thank the stranger,and bid farewell,what will happen next
Only time will tell.
