What have I been doing lately?!

Hello! It's been a while since I've written anything here!

So, first things first: where did I get to in my last lineup? Predictably, what I actually completed was not the same as what I intended to do - Yami Yugi was completed, a drew a random dragon, I drew Roger Federer instead of Mark Owen (don't know why I switched, I'm still going to draw Mr Owen btw) and most importantly of all...I ACTUALLY FINISHED CHAPTER 2 OF SEA OF BROKEN DREAMS.

I know what happens in chapter 3 but I have yet to draw the draft as I only just started university so I have to get used to life as a student there first.

What I AM drawing right now, though, is another Yu-Gi-Oh comic which I drew the draft of after a crazed moment of inspiration - I had all 56 pages drafted in under 3 days. I don't know how. It's set 3 years in the future and centres around Marik, Ryo Bakura (rather than his Yami who is obviously gone), Yugi and a bit of Tea aswell. And yes, it's shonen-ai, but there's a twist to it since my previous YGO comics were about Hikari Marik and Yami Bakura's relationship - you have to remember that Marik actually possessed Ryo himself to get what he wanted and generally didn't care for him much at all, so planning out a reunion between Marik and Ryo was really fun to do.

I already have 6 or 7 pages completely drawn of it too, but the drawings themself are in pencil because I wanted to do something different (plus it means I can work on it everywhere), though the panels, text and speech bubbles are all done in pen (no computer stuff this time for the sake of getting the stuff done quickly). I'd have uploaded what I've done already...if I had a cover page for it lol.

Wow, long post. Hopefully I'll have some stuff up soon.

The lineup for the next month or so of drawing

Okay, so my last lineup ended up going differently from how I intended (I never did any Bakura fanart and i still haven't uploaded my animal stuff, though I finished A Hiding Lesson, my Robert Pattinson drawing and my Contestshipping fanart).

My Yami Yugi picture still isn't finished, I'm working on that now.

And what of SoBD? Well, I have drawn 4 new pages and I just need to pen them and tone them, but i want to upload 6 pages at a time so I won't set a date on when my comic is getting updated...my apologies lol.

I just uploaded Pokemon fanart in the form of an entry for the Eevee evolution contest: Nefareon! I really like him =D

I have to do a big A3 commission (but it's for my mum cause she wants me to do something for the kitchen XD) and i don't know how long that'll take but hopefully not ages.

Then I am going to do a portrait of Mr Mark Owen from Take That cause I am just a little in love with him <3

After that, I am not doing anymore art other than SoBD until chapter 2 is finished.

And THEN I'll do a new lineup and start all over again lol.

I'm really happy I finally finished A Hiding Lesson, but a bit sad that's it's all over...so much so that I feel tempted to do a new Yu-Gi-Oh parody EVEN THOUGH I SAID I WASN'T GONNA DO ANOTHER ONE.

And between all of that I'm going to complete a Yu-Gi-Oh meme I've been drawing lol.

Good thing I've now finished school and all my exams are done, cause this is gonna keep me busy =)

Up-and-coming art from me

Hello...this is basically just an information post because...I feel the need to write one *laughs*

So...right now, I'm drawing ROBERT PATTINSON. Not Edward Cullen, but Robert Pattinson. Got that? But I'll still tag him under Edward and Twilight...what a hypocrite XD

Next, I'm gonna do a May and Drew contestshipping fanart, since the last (and only) one I did was well over a year ago, so another one is overdue!

After that...Bakura. I spent all that time on a good Marik fanart, so I need to do a Bakura one.

I'm also colouring a reaaaaaalllllyyyyy old fanart I did of Yami Yugi, but the lineart was good so hopefully it won't look too bad once it's coloured.

I'm going to scan in some of my animal drawings from the past year that I did for school (well...as much as can fit on an A4 scanner...wish I had an A3 one).

AND THEN I'm going to finish off both SoBD chapter 2 and A Hiding Lesson...finally.

XD

Why this World has been so inert.

Um, so...as with all my posts on the old Otaku, my title says it all. This is going to explain just exactly why I never write in my world, as well as a couple other things that spring to mind that I should write down. So...onto number one...

1.) I still miss the old Otaku, despite the fact that the new one is actually better run. I just really liked my old myotaku page and how connected I was with people on TheO.

2.) With regards to people on TheO, most of the people I was friends with are now long gone, hence a restart is required for me to even have a use of a World to let people know what I've been up to...

3.) And to restart on TheO properly, I require time to sort out the proper layout for my World, plus actually make the effort to make new friends. Time which I do not have right now due to it being my final year of high school and with my final exams just 4 weeks away. O_o Scary thought.

I think that those points cover most everything, but on the bright side, I am going to try harder to at least update my World once in a while, and at least once my exams finish on the 5th of June I have until September to restart on TheO so...fingers crossed lol.
And with regards to the fact that I never update Sea of Broken Dreams when I say I will - THE NEXT 6 PAGES WILL ACTUALLY BE UPLOADED TONIGHT. No joke. I know I intended to have them up a few weeks ago but drawing my 17 year old Kish took my attention away, and then I got the most amazing news that I had been selected by the Glasgow School of Art for interview, and that interview is on...Tuesday. THIS Tuesday. Oh no. So I've been doing some more sketchbook work for my interview even though they already have my portfolio. You can never be too prepared...*laughs*

And that's all, I think. Excuse the rant =D
