I think that that makes a lot of sense. And you're right that you don't see that much stuff about the people that actually need help in our neighbourhood. At most we have a day where we make some stuff to make them feel better, never really actually helping in a way that would actually help them. Though they might think that they're helping, it really doesn't do anything at all. Thanks for the advice on researching this stuff, I'll make sure I do that before I join a cause from now on.
I think that you're right about the NPOs and stuff, but I know that because only a few of us think like that, it's not really going to do anything in the long run. That's why I don't tell anyone to take down the posters or anything, because I know that they'll just get really mad at me for it. We might think that it's stupid for them to be supporting all of these NPOs, but it really doesn't do anything, so as long as you aren't a troll about it, then I'm with you.
Yea what that guy is doing is sick and messed up. In my school we have a bunch of posters up, and some girlz were handing out duct-tape with sayings about it. The teachers made us take off the duct-tape though. We put them all over the bathroom mirrors because we know that they can't do anthing about it.
Wow, I thought it was only my school that was posting that video all over and letting everyone know about KONY.
It's great to know that everyone knows about this evil man. ^^
