CHAPTER 4
The next day, they already completed their mission.
“ALRIGHT!!! We finished the mission!!! Now we can go back to Konoha and eat Ichiraku Ramen!!!” yelled Naruto.
Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura sweat dropped.
“Is Ramen the only thing in your head, Naruto?” Sakura asked.
“Well, of course not!!! My head’s full of other stuff too! Believe it!”
“EVERYONE! GET DOWN!!!”
Everyone ducked. Sakura looked up and saw kunais flying over her head. After a while, Kakashi signaled it was safe to stand up again.
“W-what was that?” Sakura stuttered, still shocked.
“Other ninjas,” Kakashi replied.
“I’m guessing they want the scroll we retrieved?” Sasuke said.
“YES...” replied a terrifying voice.
Sakura shivered.
Then, out of nowhere, three ninjas appeared. They were wearing black outfits, and they we’re moving too fast for Sakura too see their forehead protector.
One of the ninjas attacked Kakashi, while the other two attacked Naruto and Sasuke. Sakura could only watch.
‘NO. NOT THIS TIME!!!’
Naruto was thrown by the ninja. He couldn’t get up. The ninja was about to stab him when suddenly...
“Urgh!” The pink haired kunoichi winced as the ninja dressed in black stabbed her on the stomach.
“SAKURA-CHAN!!!!”
“I’m fine Naruto! Go help Sasuke-kun,”
“But Sakura-chan, you’re–”
“NOW NARUTO!!!”
Naruto didn’t have any choice. He ran and helped Sasuke.
“You BAKA! Why the hell are you helping me? She’s the one who needs help!” Sasuke said.
“I trust her. I know she can defend herself.”
Sasuke turned his head towards where Sakura is fighting. She was surprisingly good; she avoided all of the other ninja’s attack. Then she started attacking. Her opponent wasn’t expecting her to fight back, and she managed to successfully hit him. It was a hard punch; it made her opponent flew through the air, hit a tree, and knocked him out.
At the same time Kakashi managed to defeat his opponent and helped Naruto and Sasuke. After a while, they also defeated they’re opponent.
Sakura fell to the ground.
“SAKURA!!!”
Kakashi examined her.
“Sakura, you shouldn’t have pushed yourself this far. Especially with that wound of yours,” Kakashi said
“H-how bad is it?” Sakura said weakly.
“ The kunai that they use...were poisoned,”
The three genins gasped.
“ We have to get to Konoha fast, so lets move it,” Kakashi said.
The others nodded.
“Sakura, can you walk?” Sasuke asked.
“I-I don’t think so...”
“Fine then,”
Sasuke then carried Sakura on his back. Sakura blushed, and so did Sasuke.
