Changes to Manga
Just an FYI for those who read Kawari no Kokoro:
I have found that it is taking me MUCH too long to get my pages out. I have a solution, but it will change the look of the manga a bit. Instead of re-creating the line-art for each page, I am going to use "live trace". That means the line-art will be my original drawing, just digitized. I have a feeling that this will make the comic better, as I usually like my original drawings better that the line art I create. :/
Anyway, the first and second pages of the new format will be out this weekend, I guarantee. This way is much, much faster than manually tracing all my line-art. Phew!

Hey everyone! So my manga is off to a great start! Chapter one is out, and I have started chapter two! I'm having a lot of fun working on it, so expect more!
My Original Manga!
Hello all. My original manga, (the one I spoke of long ago), is being rolled out TODAY! It's called Kawari no kokoro and the premise is as follows:
This manga is a romantic comedy about a high school aged girl, Karen Kaiser, who suddenly finds out that she is half Japanese. With the discovery, she finally understands why she was treated differently by her family, and why she never seemed to fit in with them.
The rest of the story will follow Karen’s life as she attempts to find herself, and in the process, her estranged Japanese father. Karen’s spunky, and sometimes outlandish attitude is always good for a laugh. Especially when the menagerie of characters around her go to great lengths to keep her in line.
I hope all who decide to read the manga will enjoy it. I will be open for criticism, as always. Thanks for reading!
