I tried to get a few old friend back on here but they didn't have much interest beyond the nostalgia of it. If that is the case, then it's ok. Sometimes I want to advertise this place but then I get nervous about other people changing it a lot. It's such a decision. Hopefully, I can dins some people who like this place as is.
Agreed! Thank you for keeping this site alive! TheOtaku and newsground have been one of the few early websites I am fond of. I myself don't have any kids or family member interested in anime. I do have a sibling but haven't convinced her to come back to make an account.
Let’s make it happen! I’ve been trying to post and my kids now have accounts. My sister posts mostly on MyO so I’m trying to get her to make a world here. There are also a few more people who stop in. We need to make this place feel like the home it once was ^_^
The truth is TheOtaku is the best place for anime fans. I love it here! Maybe if more members come back and start posting again, we could see a little spark again I would absolutely love it!!!

It's been soooo long since I visited this site. I was curious to see the status of it. I, too, wish for its revival. After jumping through many art sites, I become too exhausted and decided to return here to my roots (albeit, I forgot my PW and email for my first account).
Still, it's good to see few active members at the very least!
And wooooow, chicken looks so good!! I'm suddenly getting hungry! I would volunteer but I don't believe we made Willie Wonka's invention come true just yet. Hahaha.
