I am writing a book and it's taking up all of my time! However, it will be so worth it. Don't worry Otaku friends! I am here to stay and wont disappear for years on end anymore.

I just wanted to hop on real quick to say, THANK YOU to those who are joining in on my 90's Fan Art Challenge! It is SO fun to see what you are drawing and creating. Absolutely talented people here 
SO I am working very hard on baking, cooking, concocting all of my recipes and images for my little homesteader book. I will say, this book is for everyone. I know that in the niche of homesteading, it can feel like a rigid niche buuuuuuut because I don't always fit in with people, I make things my own. It will have such a different attitude than most other homestead books I have read.

Hey all! I have been so busy but I also wanted to post too! I am not sure who is entered into my Fan Art Challenge but if you have entered, don't forget about it! It's a fun 90's anime challenge and I would love to see what you draw.
Anyways, I am posting before I have to get to work on a Crochet Pokemon order. I dislike saying this but THIS IS HARD! I took on the challenge of crocheting a Lycanroc Dusk Form plush and...... It is HARD! I will say I will never make one again unless I charge more. I seriously undercharged because I didn't have a clue how hard this would be. Stay tuned for the finished PIC! If I like it, I will submit it as Fan Art.

The moment I got back from vacation, I had to take care of my house and farm animals. The next day, I had to go back to work. My main job is cleaning houses, then book writing, then social media, then crochet artist. But the biggest job I have on top of that is Motherhood! It’s back to school week and I’m getting appointments made, school supplies and bedtimes all worked up.
Life sure is different from even 15 years ago. It’s busy and I swear the timeline has been sped up! Why are days so short? For real! Hahahah
Anyways, I just wanted to keep giving MyOtaku love and support by posting. I love it here. It’s my favorite blog to ya know…. Blog!

It’s funny, back in the day of 2002-2004, I would have to wait until I’m home and on the computer to post. Now, I can post from my phone!!! So as I type, I’m driving home with my family leaving Williamsburg VA. We hit Busch Gardens, Water Country, VA beach, adorable river restaurants and capes by the James River.
My kids had the best time but after 6 days, it’s time to pack up and go home. We live about 5 hours from Williamsburg so unfortunately, this can’t be a day trip! >_< I so wish! We love it there.
I think the most favorite thing we did was paint pottery at BG. It was HOT down here so it was nice to be inside away from the sun. I’m from Florida so I know hot…. Ugh I don’t miss it. Living in Pennsylvania is so much cooler temperature wise.
I can’t wait to see how it looks after it’s been fired in the kiln.
The river was absolutely beautiful. Sometimes I wish that I lived by the river but sometimes I’m ok with not living by it. I’m so torn! I suppose vacationing to it is a happy medium.
We took this picture for you Kikii! I so miss the 90’s land of the dragons vibe. I wanted to buy you this cool Land of the Dragons felted flag but the darn thing was $45!!!!!! It was crazy because it was just a small triangle flag :( but we took this cool pic for you. We missed you a ton!
We had a cute little cabin but the beds were awful as usual when it comes to dinky little campgrounds. We love it though.

It’s been a great month July but now it’s time to get ready for August! Big things are coming this month - besides working all the darn time. We got family vacation coming up, back to school, and the harvest season for my garden. I start to reserve and dry all of the fruits and vegetables I grew in my garden. It’s such a good time.
So last night I made an amazing dinner. My sis is having fun at Metrocon but I’m sadly stuck far away up north! So I decided to make ramen and enjoy a little anime watching with my kids. It’s was great. Surprisingly, my kids do love homemade ramen
I hope Monday starts off good! We got Pokemon League and more fun stuff coming up. Can’t wait to talk all about it!
