Ahhhh, I see, I see~ I getcha, girlfran! I haven't been on theO for so long, the entire community sort of shifted out of what I knew it to be hah xD A lot of awesome people I knew left ; ^ ; Or disappeared o.O But, ANYHOW, you've got the right idea~ I'm sure everything will be fine <3 If things get out of hand, which I highly, highly, highly doubt will happen, then you can think up something. For now, it's easy breezing B)
Okay, there we go xD Hahah yeah, you understood the question! Now I understand how it works! 8D I'm so derp ahaaa~
No problemo, Kio! B) I, myself, may not join, since I'm a terrible designer xD But I can, at the least, offer some form of help! 8'D
About the code thing: I was considering putting in a code word for reading the rules/etc, but I didn't want to make the world seem to strict in that you have to read every word of the guidelines and rules just to make sure you can join. Instead, I want to give the new members the benefit of the doubt that they at least glanced over the rules, and if they make a mistake and mess up the rules, I'll let them know. :M TheO's a good community, so I don't expect that there will be people who break the rules intentionally.
I'm still a little on the fence about the code thing, though, because it does seem like a good idea... if I can find a way to incorporate it into the world without making it too strict, I'll do it. ;u;
In the post directory, it'll just be a long list for the corresponding section. Like, the free-to-use section will have one long page of free-to-use posts, and the adoptables section will have one long page of adoptable posts, etc etc... Pages don't get "full" on theO (page breaks are put in by the poster), so worrying about a list passing over to another page isn't an issue. ;D
Hope I understood your question! xD
Okie dokie, artichokie! I read absolutely everything and here I am, seeking to help my beloved Kiohhh <3
No questions here, doll, only feedback!
Actually...I do have a question, but I'll get to it after I say my first thing xD
SO. In the form. The very first part where the aspiring member has to write either yes or no for whether they read the Guidelines, Rules, and FAQ, I think you should change that so that you can REALLY make sure they read it. I'm not trying to say my fellow Otakuites won't read everything, but the tendency to skip over things may happen, and you might want to minimize it so that everyone understands each other~!
Soooo, I was thinking about having something like a code somewhere within the Guidelines page and somewhere within the Rules page that they need to confirm in a certain way in the Member Intro? Uhhh, liiike... I don't know exactly where I'm going with this since I'm typing as I think, but something like that so that you can make sure the guidelines and rules are being read~
That leads me to my question, Kio-babe. I see that you have the Guidelines, Rules, and FAQs on three separate pages, similarly to the Post Directory. Will all of the posts fall one after the other on the same one page, making one long page as more and more posts come in, OR, will they become multiple pages after the initial page has become full? I haven't been on theO much lately, and I definitely don't use the worlds and stuff, so I'm not 100% sure xD
That's my feedback and question (though the question doesn't really have anything to do with the group, but more along the lines of me being kind of derpy 8D)~ Everything else is totally awesome! C:
