Thanks ^^ I wanted to try and show personality and the clothes off better.
Thank you very much :) I'm glad that it shows
He's going to be a main character for a story, but I haven't really worked out the details of it, but that sounds like a good exercise, especially for more fantasy themed things. Thank you for the advice and feedback :)
Courage isnt a matter of not being afraid, Its being afraid and doing what you have to do anyway!
For some reason this didn't show up in my backroom! >_< I wonder why... :T
These all look so fantastic, though!! *3* I really like that turtle pattern~ so cute! I also think it's really interesting how you've considered his body ideals (long torso/shorter legs) into his outfits. :0 Very fascinating! I think overall what you've done for him is effective, especially with the longer, loose-fitting shirts.
I'm not very good at manipulating body perception (?) through clothing, but I think giving the illusion of a lower waist through low-rise pants/etc can also make the legs look shorter. Wakusei's idea of silhouettes is also a good idea for figuring out what kind of body shape(s) he wants to go for. :D
(btw the free to use tag is just "free", if you could change it. Sorry to bother! >_< I just like to keep things uniform for navigation purposes.)
Oooh! Wow! I am amazed that you drew 7 different poses! That's some dedication! WOW! XD
I really like this character design and how you drew his hair. I think he seems like a very fashionable person and you did a great job on giving him a variety of styles that all represent aspects of his character.
I am not sure what you will use this character for, but if you want him to be a stand-out easily identifiable sort of character then you could try doing silhouettes of the character and figure out what silhouette represents that character the best and then design his clothing from that. That's what I usually do with my fashion designs, but mine are really really weird so I dunno if that's what you want to go for. XD
